I don't know. A driver showed me it written inside 088's cab a while back (through the window of course). 077 is called "Raging Rosey". 078 has a name too but I forget it.

Any got any whereabouts of 079? It seems to have gone missing. Probably it in for overhaul along with 076, speaking of which must be near ready, it's been in for a good while now.

Also anyone notice that since 085 has been released back into traffic it has never worked a revenue freight service. As far as I can see its never worked a tara, IWT, DFDS or timber. All it's been on are ballast, spoil, relay and wagon transfer runs. I wonder is there part of the reason it was confined to Inchicore for a few years part of this reason or an underlying flaw with it that has not been solved?

085 worked the wheelcarrier on Thursday 25-Sept-14. I must check my photos and see when the last time I got it on a liner-I suspect that its a good while back alright.

I see that 076 is still in Inchicore. It's been finished overhaul since July and is still sitting in a siding at the west end away from everything. Is it surplus to requirement perhaps and will be sent out when the next 071 comes in for overhaul.

Thats a short rake of taras, problem at the mine? Nothing like the sound of an 071 running over jointed track.

They are probably saving money by not running all the 071s doing little bits here and there and instead working them a little more instead.

I never really get why they run so many for such little work they are used for.

I took an unplanned trip behind 079 on Saturday and took some shots of it, 461 and some passenger services around Connolly and Pearse as well as some in train footage between Pearse and Maynooth.

I think that this was the final 13:10 FO to Tralee.
If it wasn't the final one it was the penultimate working of this service.
