Hey, just wondering could someone lend me a hand? I need a laptop for college, but that can also play smaller games like diablo 1 and minecraft(and hopefully tekkit for those who know it) fairly well. Hopefully below the 500 euro mark too. I know I'm asking alot but any help would be appreciated.

For Minecraft you'll need better than Intel's integrated graphics.. That'll be more like 600 yoyos for a laptop with a GT 630M.

Do you really want to play Diablo 1? Well, it won't work on a 64-bit OS, but you can use a virtual machine with XP for that (VirtualBox is free). If you mean Diablo 3, you're looking for a GT 650M or better, which means a laptop in the region of 800-900 Euro.

HD 3000 or 4000 should more than handle minecraft, being fair.

Also runs at full settings on the A10..

Not if you want to enjoy some of the eye candy.

You seem to forget that this is boards.ie... As far as Ireland (and the rest of Europe) is concerned, the A10 is a phantom processor.

Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated. I kinda had an idea I'd need a laptop with a graphics card, but was wondering whether to go with one of the intel processors with an nvidia, or an amd. If any of you could suggest a laptop I'd be very gratefulx

A little brand awareness never hurt anybody :pac: again too other A-series APUs are there to be had, even if Triton hasnt gotten over there yet.
