Misspelled campaign posters

So the final votes have been cast, most of the seats filled and all of the candidates' General Election campaigns over. One thing that bothered me, as trivial as it may admittedly be, was the amount of candidates who misspelled or made other errors in their various posters and fliers.

Take for example, Jonathan O' Brien from Sinn Féin, who was the first to reach the quota in this constituency (Cork North Central). On at least one of his posters, he made quite an obvious spelling mistake. I'm not exactly sure what his slogan was, but it was something along the lines of 'Fight this Consensus for Cuts.' According to O' Brien of course, we need to 'Fight this Concensus for Cuts.' This was on a prominent poster in a place that would see a lot of traffic.

Although I can't vote yet, I know should I have been able to do so, I wouldn't have been giving my vote to someone who didn't have enough diligence to proof read his campaign literature. It's obviously not the most pressing concern when it comes to choosing your candidate, but it still seems fairly sloppy. Another less obvious examples was a far left candidate referring to 'the family and it's importance.'

Yes, of course, we all make mistakes (and I'm sure someone is going to point out some errors in my post!), but the point still stands that I would be wary of anyone careless enough to firstly print erroneous campaign literature and to then proceed to display it.

Don't know about miss-spelled posters but I did see a couple of Joe Costello Lab. posters on Dorset Street in Dublin Central with "Vote Yes" in the top right corner.

I did see one runner writing on his posters "Independent" - when he was actually still a full FF'er.
    Does that 'mistake' count?
