No disrespect to Ulster intended, but I would much rather be playing them than Clermont.

No doubt, but I think you missed the point of my post. I selected the three finalists we've faced/are facing.

Also in the form Leicster are currently in I wouldn't want to be playing them either

Confidence is one thing... I'm really really nervous about this game now. Have a horrible feeling...
To be honest nothing I’ve seen this season surpasses Paddy Power paying out on Leinster the day or so before kick-off last year. If that happens again I’ll then start to worry.

Isn't there going to be a Poll thread in the usual tradition?

Just got a text from my mate saying he can't go, so I've thrown his ticket up on adverts.
Apparently his missus wasn't happy at him going....tried to tell him that it's a huge game in terms of making history etc, but she's not budging.
She must have a serious set of balls or he's a hen pecked dope.
I'll probably wake half the house at 4a.m tomorrow morning but what the hell....it Ulster v Leinster for gods sake!!!!

There's his problem right there. Explains your second sentence perfectly.

Leinster have never lost a HEC knock out game that Sexton played in.

That's a nice stat.

No, I picked up on that, but I don't think people are particularly 'happy' about facing Ulster; certainly I'm not, was just making the point that it could be worse...

So far Leinster have played:
The team that finished 5th in the Top 14 (Montpellier)
The team that finished 4th in the Rabo (Glasgow)
The team that finished 8th in the Aviva (Bath)
The team that finished 7th in the Rabo (Cardiff)
The team that finished 2nd in the Top 14 (Clermont)

Ulster have played
The team that finished 2nd in the Top 14 (Clermont)
The team that finished 2nd in the Aviva (Leicester)
The team that finished 12th in the Rabo (Aironi)
The team that finished 3rd in the Rabo (Munster)
The team that finished 11th in the Rabo (Edinburgh)

Average finishing position of team Leinster played is 5.2.
Average position finishing position of team Ulster played is 6.

Leinster finished their pool on 24points. Add in the QF (5 points) and the Semi (4 points) means their total points in the comp is 33.

Ulster finished their pool on 20points. Add in the QF (4 points) and the Semi (4 points) means their total points in the comp is 28.

So there you go, Leinster are more deserving winners

Whatever about this year, last year Leinster played 6 different teams in the competition, and they were:

Aviva Premiership Champions 2011
Aviva Premiership Runners-Up 2011
Aviva Premiership Semi-Finalists 2011
Top 14 Champions 2011
Top 14 Semi-Finalists 2011
Top 14 Semi-Finalists 2011

That has to be the toughest Cup run in the history of the competition?

What worries me is a team as p1ss poor as Bath managed to finish 8th in the aviva.
