Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

That has been a dog of a company for years, it had to be rescued before, when it broke many/most of its banking covenants after a string of losses in the noughties. A Dublin based company bought it and then flipped it to the Chinese. It will go the same way as MG Cars (yeah, I know they’ve just won the BTCC, with the MGC but has anyone bought one? Or seen one?)
Sad for the workers, but tough times in the luxury sector, despite waffle from SS management on SS being “higher up the food chain” than the likes of other lux brands. Someone should tell them that only SS owners (and potential owners) are allowed big egos.
