Yeah been bidding on a couple that I've seen ending soon and cheap. Thanks for the feedback, lads.
Currently bidding on Wrestlemania 19 ($9.99), Monday Night Wars ($2.50) and Unforgiven 2001 (Won), Survivor Series 2002 (Won) Royal Rumble 2000 ($9.00), NWO Back in Black that also had a DX DVD with it ($10). Most are used and auctions end soon. :) I really want Royal Rumble 94 but will probably have to get it as tagged classics.

Monday night wars one is good.

Did not really like the NWO one i got it free with one of the Smackdown games couple of years ago.

I know, it's a shame really. Guess they want his more 'main event' type matches or something.

Sweet price Ruu,did you get it off eBay?

The "You are now entering the Warrior Zone" chapter is gold :D

Just watched it there, bizarre. I laughed at the Andre feud part. "He'll learn", you can picture it. :D
Another thing that was brought up in the DVD that I used to think about was mentioning if you beat x in another federation on TV and remembering how everything was hush hush.

    Ha ha.

Im actually pretty impressed with the line up of matches.

WWE are getting better at not duplicating matches on their releases.

Im particularly looking forward to seeing the Austin @ No Mercy match and the Foley retirement match again.

Havnt seen either since they were on TV many moons ago.

    Yippee!

It's not very good. Austin was really struggling with his neck at that stage.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,925 ✭✭✭Otis Driftwood

I saw it when it was on tv and thought it was pretty solid.

That is 9 years ago though so its possible Ive romantisised it a bit.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,045 ✭✭✭Vince135792003

To be fair, it probaby is good. It's just when I think of Austin/Triple H I always think of their 2 out of 3 falls match at No Way Out.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,925 ✭✭✭Otis Driftwood

    Now THAT was a match.

The Austin dvd is worth buying for it alone.

I watched the documentary part. It's quite good but it felt a little thrown together too. Also Michaels comes across as being very goofy throughout the whole thing which doesn't add to it. The match compilation looks great though.

I don't have that many wrestling DVDs - never seem to get the time watch the ones I have! I like: Undertaker, This is my yard - I'd watch it a few times a year, but apart from that they just collect dust in my house!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,962 ✭✭✭GhostInTheRuins

I used to be a mad wrestling fan until a few years ago.

I've got ~50-60 VHS tapes of WWF, ECW, IWW and some japanese shows. They're nearly all from 1997-2002, some earlier but none later than 2002. I can't remember what the japanese shows are except for the King of The Deathmatch that Mick Foley won (95 I think).

Anyway, I don't want them anymore and was going to dump them/give them to a charity shop or something but I realised there was a wrestling forum and somebody that wants them could have them.

If anyones interested let me know and I'll throw them up on adverts.ie
