10% of tallies counted. All in my strong area. Loads of 2, 3, 4, which is comforting, but not enough No. 1s. I concede, with good grace.

1022 Green Party candidate Paul Gogarty, via twitter, says: '10% of tallies counted. All in my strong area. Loads of 2, 3, 4, which is comforting, but not enough No. 1s. I concede, with good grace.'

Trust Paul Gogarty to create a final bit of publicity for himself. While I think the Green Party still have an important role to play in Irish politics, the disappearance of Gogarty and Boyle into obscurity will be welcomed.

That's not how publicity works. You do something and THEN the papers write about it ;)

It does smell of a last ditch effort to take up some inches in the papers tomorrow.

Good to see Cuffe and Gogarty already conceding hopefully Gormless and Ryan won't be far behind. Sargeant may be the only survivor if he's extremely lucky. :D

Gormley is also gone - Greens admitting as much on Newstalk now. Yippee!!!!

Isn't for others to decide whether it is "with good grace"?
    Self-regarding, foul-mouthed baby-sitter! (no offence to baby-sitters intended)
