Assurance letter from bank

I recently returned to Ireland, on my return i joined currencyfair to transfer my funds back to my BOI Account. Since i have been away so long i only have my BOI statements as a proof of addresss. CurrencyFair request two forms of proof of address which is not feasible for someone like me who has been traveling for so long and does not have another form on return. Currency fair sent me a template of a letter of assurance to give to the bank and this would count for 2 forms. I asked in my local bank and they said this can not be done. Currency fair assure me it is a standard letter from their office.
My Funds are now in Currencyfairs accounts , but i am unable to transfer to my bank of Ireland account without this letter. Can someone please assist me with this, as to me this seems like a simple issue . Since all i want to do is put my money, back into Bank of Ireland . Surely bank of Ireland is willing to let me do this !
