Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

New Monday €20 Rebuy Tournament - €1,000 Guaranteed - Village Green CC

    Hi Guys,

    We're kicking off our the start of our new league with a new Monday tournament.
    €20 Rebuy with €1,000 Guaranteed.


    Our New League will be a combined Tournament and Cash League which will run for 3 months starting Sunday 1st February and finishing on Thursday 30th April. Which will have an estimated €17,000 Total Prize Pool (based on our last two tournament and cash leagues).


    1. Who is running the event (organisation, society etc) – Village Green Card Club
    2. The purpose of the event (charity, commercial etc) - Commercial
    3. Date – Every Monday
    4. Location – Village Green Card Club, Tallaght Village
    5. Any guaranteed prize pool - Yes, €1,000 Guaranteed
    6. Registration and Start time of event – Reg 7pm, Game 8pm, Late Reg 10pm
    7. Any prerequisites (member of club, society etc) - Become a member on the night, photo ID required (Passport or Drivers License)
    8. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number (in advance, at the door etc) – We have seats for 135 Players
    9. Type of Tournament (Hold'em/Omaha etc Freezeout/Rebuy etc) – NLHE Freezeout
    10. Cost of entry - €30
    11. How much of the entry fee is made up of registration fee - €10
    12. If a rebuy, cost of rebuys/top-up – €20
    13. How many and what duration are rebuys available – Up to the 1st Break (5 Levels)
    14. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into prize fund – all the €20’s
    15. How many places being paid – 12.5-15% of the field
    16. Is any money from the prize fund held back for future tournaments, if so, how much – 6% rounded to the nearest €5 (Max €250) is withheld for our league.
    17. Any tickets for future events given out as prizes. If so, how many – Yes winner will receive a €80 Ticket as part of the Prize to our Monthly SuperStack €3,000 Guaranteed game on the last Sunday of each Month if the prize pool reaches €750

    19. Starting chips – 5,000 with 2,000 Early Bird (1st Level Only)

    All Players will need 5,000 Chips to Qualify for the League Final

    Tournament Points


    At each qualifying game, the top ten finishers will receive points. Once a player has accumulated 5,000 points, he or she is qualified for the league final. The total points that a person accumulates over the league will be the amount of chips that he or she starts with in the league final.

    The prize pool total will be split between the league’s top finishers and the league final. Fifteen percent of the total money collected will be paid to the top five league finishers. The remaining eighty-five percent is paid out on the day of the league final.

    The points are based on the amount of players in the game, i.e.

    1st = 100 * number of players

    2nd = 90 * number of players

    3rd = 80 * number of players

    4th = 70 * number of players

    5th = 60 * number of players

    6th = 50 * number of players

    7th = 40 * number of players

    8th = 30 * number of players

    9th = 20 * number of players

    10th = 10 * number of players

    The amount of money withheld for the league from each game will be 6% of the prize pool rounded to the nearest €5 capped at €250.

    Cash Points

    Each hour will equal 600 tournament chips for the league final.

    The top 5 players in hours will receive 15% of the cash league total. With the remaining 85% been added to the 85% of the tournament money making for one BIG League Final.

    If a player has qualified for the league final but is unable to attend, he/she may carry the qualifying points forward to the next league final if they are higher than the points accumulated in the next league.
