Why do drunk people sing?

I have not had a drink for a couple of months, but popped open a bottle of Koppaberg Mix fruit, 5.3%. Just finished it there.

I always notice I kick out a tune whenever I have a drink, normally Sinatra's "New York, New York".

    Why is this?

The same reason you've no one to drink with.

The same reason you've no one to drink with.

    OP this does sound plausible.

I said I don't drink much. I met up with a couple of people today, but fancied 1 or 2 before hitting the sack.

    My singing = rule.

You wouldn't mind, I can hit a few notes. I can't sing great, but i'm not sheep either. If my first reply gets enough thanks (50+) i'll post a vid of me singing on my youtube account.

That doesn't make as much sense as I'm sure you'd like it to, bit aggressive though, especially considering you already responded to that post. Might be time for you to hit the sack mate, looks like you've a painful hangover ahead of you tomorrow.

Given your apparent state, that's hardly something to be proud of.

But you implied in the op that you were drunk as you were belting out Frank Sinatra tunes.

Are you so drunk that you don't even know what you're saying anymore? What's it to be? Are you LYING to the good people of AH??? :(

    Hmm.
Trying to appear hip by drinking an expensive drink.

Failing to appear hip by spelling the name of said drink incorrectly on an internet message board.
    That's just sad.

Maybe you're a closet homosexual who just wants to sing and dance and be FABULOUS!

Let it out, OP, let it all out...

Why was my friend walking around a crowded chinese at 3 this morning with his knob in one hand, the other waving at people and his trousers around his ankles ??

    Exactly.
