Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Advice on taking photos lighting etc.

    Hi,

    I am looking at taking good quality photos on a manaquin they dont need to be amazing but proffesional. i have tried with a cream wall in the back round it works to an extent but i have shadows etc. im wondering how much it would cost and what i would need to do this.

    any advice appreciated.

    have you any examples of what youd like them to look like?? is it for a catalogue or something?? where are you based, i could possibly help you out. :)

    yes it is for online adverts on ebay etc. i want a white back round and no shadows etc. just looking for an idea on how much that type of equipment would cost at a start up level.

    but i think if you put a sheet in front of a bright window, took the photo in front of the window, and could do the rest of the editing in a programme like photoshop elements which is fairly cheap around €80, as long as you took the photo right then youd probably get good results on a budget.
