Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Hi I was doing a clear out I found 2 five euro have notes are these any use or is it better to bin them?

    Come again - did you mean you found two old fivers i.e. five pound notes? Anything that used to be legal tender can still be cashed in at the Central Bank in Dame St.

    If you have more that 50% of the note, the Central bank will exchange it for you.

    That link to the Central Bank I posted above has a section on exchanging 'mutilated' Euro notes.

    I found half a €20 note recently and as the serial number was on it, I was able to exchange it at the bank!
