Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Hailstone Damage

    A friend of mine is just back from the South of Spain with his camper.

    There was a massive hailstorm shower last week which managed to leave loads of tiny dents in the roof and passenger side of his MH. There was no paint broken, just tiny little imperfections in the surface

    Insurance company dont really want to know about it claiming act of god so what im asking is:
    • what are his options??
    • can a bodyshop repair this kind of thing??
    any advice greatly appreciated!!!

    Don't know about the insurance side of things, really depends what the policy says.

    As for getting it fixed: the proper way to do it is to re-skin the affected areas.
    That means taking all the sheet metal off completely and fitting new sheets.

    Sounds expensive? That's because it is, unfortunately.

    My advice would be to leave it alone
