Any network offering free network to network texts at low cost?

    ...except Tesco Mobile?

    I'm looking for a good and cost effective solution for sending free network to network texts.

    I need this for a particular application where incoming messages are automatically printed.

    Tesco mobile looked like a good solution at €5/month for free network to network texts. However there seems to be a big lag (30-40 seconds) for the SMS to come in, compared to around 10 seconds for other networks. Furthermore, that lag could go up to 5 minutes if the messages are sent in quick succession. Meanwhile messages from other networks that are sent in quick succession come in much quicker.

    Is there any other network offering a comparable rate that wouldn't suffer from these issues?
