Good price, bit of messing around with CC, they don't take Irish cards but did not tell me until I had been waiting a week! Had to sort out an International bank transfer which was a pain. They did hold a set for me though while waiting for the transfer to go through, which was nice. Had to hassle them to get a tracking number, bit of trouble getting the table delivered as it was shipped separate from the TV (second day working from home).

    Projector: Suant C1500
Type: LCD Projector 7.0" Poly-Silicon TFT Matrix
    Date Bought: 05-02-2008
    Date Delivered: 21-02-2008
    Price: €311 +€29.50 Shipping (Also purchased a motorised 90" screen for €178)
Bought From: Elout Projection, Netherlands http://stores.ebay.ie/EloutProjection-International
    Retailer Satisfaction: Very Satisfied
    TV Satisfaction: Incredible Picture.
    Specifications:
    Max Resolution: 1080i (1920 x 1080)
    Aspect Ration: 16:9 (supports 4:3)
    Brightness: 1500 Max ANSI Lumen
    Contrast Ration: 600:1
    Inputs:
Component Video: Y/Pb/Pr (PAL, NTSC, SECAM)
Composite Video: RCA x 1 (PAL, NTSC, SECAM)
    S-Video:S-Video x1
    RGB: Mini 15 pin x1
    Audio in/out: RCA x 2
    Other:
    Remote Control
    Vertical Keystone Correction

    Performance:
Noisy as hell in HD mode, a decent surround sound will drown it out.
Noise is not too bad using VGA or RCA input.
HD is good, colours are clear and picture is sharp at 90". I've projected larger images onto a painted wall and the picture was sharp but colours were not as vivid as when using the screen,
I've tried it with TV, DVD and XBOX360 and all were good, especially the quality of image from the 360 when gaming.
The fan noise is the only real flaw I can find with it for the low cost.
I'd certainly recommend it for gaming alone, and as an entry level projector for home cinema.
    Bertie.

    Bought From: DID Electrical (crumlin)

I've wanted one of these for a while, well actually I wanted the 40", but then I thought if I'm going to spend a load of money on a new TV I want to be really blown away by it. And I have been :)

HD picture quality out of the box was pretty decent, looking at some trailers and a blu-ray, was way too bright and colourfull and vibrant, but grand for showing what the TV was capable of. Tweaking using the HDTVtest settings as a base gives a stunning picture, incredibly detailed, very nice natural looking colour, and very deep blacks.

SD picture out of the box was horrific, truly awful, but was expecting this and after a minute or two of tweaking (again using the HDTVtest settings for some tips), the SD picture is actually fantastic. Quite often scenes look like they are in HD, everything is very clear and sharp and flawless. Using NTL digital by the way, results with analogue would not be as good.

Excellent set for gaming too, using it with the PS3 is simply stunning. And zero problems like smear or lag, and that's without using it's game mode even.

Very impressed with this model. Settings out of the box are poor but with a bit of twiddling you end up with a great picture. Sky on freeview is perfect. Gettting terrestrial channels through ariel and picture is almost as good.
Using PS3 for blu-ray\dvds\games looks stunning!

hi, need a bit of help

bought the Q97 from Harvey Norman in January sales. Just moved into the new house a few weeks ago and got the tv delivered last weekend. but its the wrong one

is the PSA451P1 a better tv or have i been done.

can't find any reviews on line. only place i could compare the specs was on the dutch samsung site.
rang samsung ireland and they say its a better set just on the market.
still i'd like to hear some independent reviews before i open the box

    help please

Accessories: nice black cabinet from power city - €115 :)

I opted for a cheaper 50inch and not full 1080p as i dont see the need. I have a 360 running off it and it looks incredible - dvd's and especially games - COD4 is AMAZING on it :D

I previously had a sony rear projection which pales in comparison in both SD and HD. SD is a little blurry but im about 12-14 feet away and cant notice. the colour is excellent and the black levels are very deep. overall - glad i opted for this over the 46" 1080p which was €800 more!!

After months research, I order Pioneer 42" 720p plasma.
Retailer was excellent, no major fuss, delivered in 3 days. TV was faulty on arrival (intermittantly refused to turn on). Retailer arranges AV Importers (Pioneer importer in RoI) to collect and repair. Only issues was this took 3 weeks to be returned otherwise no complaints. Now very happy with TV, picture is stunning, excellent colours/contract, no motion blur, runs quiet, loads on connections.
