Incorrect Claim Date / P45 Date

I had my contract terminated due to not reaching performance standards following a disciplinary meeting on Tuesday 30th August - was told this was with immediate effect, and would receive 2 weeks pay.

I signed on at Local Office and they are processing my claim with effect from Wednesday 31st August.

My old company have now sent through my P45 showing a finish date of 16th September which overlaps with my claim date with SW.

Anyone any experience of this happening - i truly believed that my last day of work was 30th August, however not sure what to do ???

As you got 2 weeks pay instead of notice, your p45 is correct. You were right to sign on on your first day out of work, the social will work off the dates on the p45.
