Going to go for a small double of over 2.5 in the Lazio and the Barca game @ 1.54.

Both in by half time, pity they can't all be that easy!

Atleti aside which the only thing I have money on so far.. but a few bets I'm considering.

Like the look of Palermo and Miccoli Wincast for them, Lazio's away form has nose dived in recent weeks. 4 losses out of 5 to be specific, so they have certainly been shipping goals a plenty. Palermo were similar at home but seemed to have turned a corner since a few weeks ago with 3 home wins on the bounce now. Miccoli is Palermo's main man is always worth a bet.

    Palermo @ 13/10
    Miccoli Wincast @ 7/2

I'll certainly be on Michu (Rayo Vallecano) Anytime @ 11/2(!) again this week. The guy keeps doing the business for them from CM position and keeps going unnoticed by punters and bookies alike! Rayo have won their last 2 away matches, while Levante's form has tailed off since late November/early December really.

    Rayo @ 11/5
    Michu Anytime @ 11/2
    Michu Wincast @ 10/1
    Michu FGS @ 14/1

Will probably get on the Celtic train too, but I'am always a tad weary about betting on them despite their impressive run. Spurs -1 depending on teamsheet I might consider too. Boca Win to Nil + 0-0 goes without saying and I might follow people on the Valencia card wagon too. Think I'll leave Liverpool well alone or at most a wee goalscorer bet.

Palermo, Miccoli Wincast and Boca 0-0 make it a good day after Atleti disappointed by drawing to Gijon. Disappointment an understatement really, didn't see that coming!

Gutted I didn't put money on Celtic and Rayo though! Rayo trounced Levante 5-3 without Michu! Would have had a hat trick had he played.. obviously :D

Didn't get a chance to bet on Barca match, only just heard about Messi and his exploits :pac:

Ade that Palermo double was an epic bet

Ugh, there is too much aftertiming going on and oddly enough ever since the charter was changed in regards to aftertiming before this past weekend. I suggest people post pics (proof of bet) in this thread sharpish - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056553772 Don't be complaining about infractions and the like if and when they are handed out around lunch time later on today. Thanks!

Back on topic and a quick note before I head off.

Love the look of Libertad Asuncion @ 10/11 and -1 @ 3/1 in Paraguay.

Benfica should win but I'am a tad weary after their match last week in Russia. Odds are fairly ****e on the win at around 1/2.

Hard to call Zaragoga and Betis. BTTS along with the match in Bundesliga II might be something I look at.

In those situations i usually go for the team that should win, to score over 1,5 goals. usually slightly better odds
Benfica over 1,5 was @1.72 vs the straight win @1.57 this morning

Bit **** if Bnfica win 1-0 but other than that particular result i cant think of any other result where both bets wouldnt lose or win while you still have a good chance to get some money when there is a draw or even a loss for Benfica.

So tonights result after all that will surely be a 1-0 to Benfica :D

Any thoughts from the loi experts on Derry tonight?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,303 ✭✭✭Lasagna Diarra

A bit early as the game is on thursday, but the odds will probably drop

    Metalist Kharkiv -1 is @ 2.15 !!! They won the away leg 5-0 !

    also done this treble:
    Real Madrid
    Celtic -1
Napoli to score 1 or more goals
    @ 2.16

    Nice odds on cardoza anytime

I saw Metalist in their last group game against AZ.
Without their foreigners, who were already sent on holidays, they really looked good.

Too bad there were a few big guns dropped from CL to EL otherwise i would take a smal bet on them to win the EL. But i think at least both the Manchester outfits will be too strong for them.

Too bad it was 5-0 away already, they might not be too bothered.

Bit of an unusual one for me.

Half with Most Goals, 2nd Half @ Evens in the Benfica match. Remembered Benfica are much like Real when it comes to waking up in the 2nd half of games. Looking at Guimaraes, they are much of the same. They also have a very decent record at home in the league in the last handful of games, albeit Benfica are a completely different class to the teams they have beaten recently.

That and as mentioned in the early hours, Libertad Asuncion @ 10/11 and -1 @ 3/1 will be my only bets for today. Leaving the La Liga match well alone tonight.

Derry should beat Lisburn easily enough. Be wary enough though as they won the first leg 4-0 but the -2 at 8/5 could be worth a punt.

  • Registered Users Posts: 721 ✭✭✭jkelly85

Glentoran to beat bray @ 1/1
Portadown to beat bohs @ 4/5

    Double with bet365

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,610 ✭✭✭shocksy

    Bet for today is

    €20 treble

    Emmen v Den Bosch
    Alki Larnaca v AEK Larnaca
    Vit Guimaraes v Benfica

All of those games over 1.5

    Returns €39.81

I also like Over 2.5 in the benfica game @ 5/6 with PP

Most bookies going 8/11 to 4/5

Along the same lines of thinking as myself, went for a Nantes Benfica double in the end...

Already 4-0 up but should do the job at home too, I'd wait for some team news.

Glens to beat Bray and Pats to beat Cliftonville good bets too, thinking of doing the treble.

I think Metalist can win the EL, Man City were knocked out by Dynamo Kyiv last year and their priority is to win the Premier League not the EL. Same with Man Utd, the league's more important for them.

If CSKA Moscow and Shakhtar managed to win the Uefa cup, Metalist can certainly win it too.
