Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Bus Éireann Wi-Fi problems

    Anyone using the wifi on Bus Eireann? How do you find it? I'm trying to use it in the 111 but have lots of problems with it on my iPhone. Most of the time I can't connect. When I eventually get connected I'm kicked out after a short time! Would there be issues if there were other buses with wifi near my bus while in traffic? I.e. would it be constantly trying to connect to a different bus?

    Anytime there happens to be Wi-Fi on the 111 that I get, it always works!!!!

    I have used a Nokia phone, android and a laptop. Once there was a problem but the internet wasn't working at all that day, but otherwise grand job.

    I use the bus daily and if there is Wi-Fi on the bus, it works for me.

    But one question when you start your browser do you get a bus eireann connect page?? You need that page to first connect then you are redirected to the bus eireann homepage then its happy sufing!!!

    Might see you having problems someday on the bus.

    Hi Karkar, yes I do connect (when I can) using the wifi connection page. Maybe it's just my iPhone. But as I said a lot of times I can never connect or it keeps dropping. I wonder is it also to do with lots of people accessing at the same time?
