Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    It is possible the nut on the elbow wasn't tightened properly. If you turn the power off & remove the cover you can inspect the elbow. If it was the elbow it would leak all the time & not just while you shower.
    When answering questions here I always assume that the shower was fitted correctly. When fitting a shower like this it should be fully tilled behind with the exception of a 2" hole for the pipe & cable. This hole should then be sealed with silicon. There isn't supposed to be silicon around the edge of the shower. If the wall is sealed as described above then the wall is water tight. All of this is in the installation manual.
    If not tiled behind fully then you are forced to seal around the shower (even though the manual says not to). So its possible you need to seal around the shower
