Sounds very much like Samsara or Baraka, probably the former as it was released in 2011-12. Baraka came before Samsara just to add some confusion to your last point, but it's probably one of 'em :)

Answer in to me in under three minutes! That's it, thanks very much:)

I apologize for being vague but it was long ago. I watched this movie prior to 1984 so it's at least that old. It was set in a huge house and there were young children, a brother and sister, that the nanny or grandmother was trying to kill. She took all the blankets off the bed and opened all the windows but another young man came through their window and insulated the children with newspapers. There was also another scene where a woman was standing on a table modelling for a man that called her his "little sausage" and other weird compliments. I know it's vague but it's making me crazy trying to figure out. Thanks!

Kind of sounds like Flowers In The Attic, though that came out in 87.

This is a tv program i saw last week. It is a 2 part story. A woman with a very ill child and her Boyfriend/Husband get a mysterious offer to kill a stranger for 5 million pounds. They have 3 days from the time of getting the persons name to commit the murder. When they are investigating the person she realises that it might be a chain killing (like a chain letter)
in one scene a young guy who looks like he has been sleeping rough is seen going into a community hall and leaves a big bag of cash with a note saying "For the Community Hall" or something similar... he gets murdered when he comes out of the hall.
All help appreciated :) I want to see part 2 :)

Saw this movie on RTE years ago.It was set during the depression/1930s though looked like it might have been made in the 70s.It was about this boy in a rural part of the States, maybe Oklahoma or some similar place in the wilderness.Theres a scene where some other boys are tormenting a prairie dog or gopher/ some kind of animal like that, they chase it into a burrow and they have a dog with them which grabs the prairie dog and mauls it,the ringleader of the boys takes it off him and them kills it by I think dropping a rock on it or something. This whole scene was kind of disturbing as it looked like the prairie dog was being killed for real and not faked. The main character then beats up the ringleader of the kids over what he did.Another scene has the main character in class where hes forced by his teacher to stand in the corner holding his arms in the air till he drops. While hes standing theres these close up shots of his classmates faces looking on,some of them smiling mockingly.Ring any bells?

Another scene had the lad meeting a crazy old man with a long beard who going on about Jesus. The boy who was the main character had long blond hair which looked kind of out of place for the movies period setting,I also remember he wore dungarees.

I vaguely remember this film I saw on the TV when I was very young,it was sort of like those almost documentary Disney films where they follow the story of an animal. It was I think British and it was about a fox that was constantly outwitting hunters. One scene that sticks out in my mind had him being pursued by a pack of hounds and he leads them onto railway tracks.Just as a train comes along he runs off the tracks and the hounds are struck by it.You don't see it happen but the next scene shows all dead hounds on the track while the huntsmen in their red outfits are walking among them.BTW it was a live action film and not a cartoon.

Did the trailer have unflattering night-vision shots of audience reactions?

I think it was an 80s or possibly early 90s movie. All I remember is there was this other world, like an underworld which was accessed through a door or portal under the kid's bed.

I think it had a sort of Jim Henson / Labyrinth vibe but it wasn't one of Hensons as far as I can see.

I don't remember anything really about the plot.

OK, I got two movies that I can only remember bits and pieces of, so hopefully someone can fill in the missing parts.

1: I think this was a British Movie, I remember seeing it in the early 80's, so the movie itself could have been 80's or 70's (or could have been a mini series). I remember there being scenes of either a bomb in a toy train set, or maybe these train sets were catching fire or something (I'm pretty sure it was a bomb though). I think the lead character might have been a police man and in one scene, his kid was about to play with one and he was rushing to the house to stop him (I think it exploded though before he got there).

2: Even less to go on with this one. I think it was a sci-fi drama thing (more drama than Sci fi), again, early 80's. It was set in the states, but at one stage the lead character was playing baseball with a kid and the kid was asking if the guy could hit a baseball all the way to the moon. In another scene, the kid had some pet white mice that died. The guy was on the moon and took out the little bag of dead mice and buries them on the moon.

Sorry that's all I got, but you know how it is, you have those scenes in your head and they kinda just stick there. So if anyone wants to take a crack at these, go for it!

This is a film that I only saw the end of late at night years ago.I'm pretty sure it was a spaghetti western,or at least had that kind of look. The main character who seemed to be a variation on the man with no name type was in a shootout in this Western town and was wounded,a bit vague as to what was going on but I think it was the climax to a big shootout. These three really scruffy, long haired guys who I think might have supposed to have been vagrants got hold of a gun and made a load of townspeople strip naked. The wounded main character staggers down the street towards them and one of them is shooting at him but keeps missing. The vagrant types panic and run away.I can't remember the rest of it or how it ended.

Looking for the name of a movie from the 70s. It was one of those efforts of futuristic ****e. It was on the Friday night horror section on sky 1 in the early 90s. It was very strange and at one point I remember that the characters were actually some kids toy dolls. Also something about a microwave. I definitely wasn't tripping as I was only about 10.

I think you could be right there, I could have sworn it was a trainset, but the synopsis sounds right. Also I remember it being on a couple of times, so it was probably re-runs of the same episode. Hard to say without seeing some better screen shots. I think it was set around Christmas time though, so thanks you've cleared that one up for me!
