Is the cost of Diesel the same there or has that also been increased too?

Seen 137.9 on the Quay New Ross this evening ( unleaded)

Driving through Waterford,Topaz on Cork Rd. was 138.9,the garage 50 yards away was 132.9

Going by stereomatic's figures, nearly all the places in Co.Wexford are keeping within a couple of cent of each other at most.

I see the Great Gas station in Gorey is rebranding as Esso, that probably means the end of competition in the town, now that Denis O'Brien is involved.

Competition? Nah you're in the wrong county....

Well up to now Great Gas and Applegreen kept each other on their toes but I can't see that continuing.

Unleaded 144.9 and 145.9 in New Ross . - Seems to be in an upwards spiral

Unleaded 140.9 / Diesel 130.9 last night in Great Gas in Clonroche.

Looks like my prediction of the end of competition in Gorey has come to pass, all stations now charging the same price.

139.9 for petrol at the filling station on the way to the hospital in Wexford, same @ Tesco, saw it at 147.9 on the Island Rd. in Enniscorthy, cheapest around here is 143.9.

Gorey dragging it's heels again. Fuel has dropped by as much as 3c/litre in Dublin and Wicklow over the past few weeks, not a budge here.

The difference between petrol and diesel has gone huge!!! Up to 20c in some places!!! John Rackards in Caim 139.9 for petrol last weekend which is the best I've seen by a long shot.

Is it just me or has the price of petrol and diesel been creeping up over the past week in Enniscorthy? A certain garage (won't name it YET) has had 3 increases in price in a week,it's gone from 132.9 to 137.9 in that time. Was in Waterford yesterday and petrol was 129.9 a litre. There was uproar before when it was claimed there was a cartel in the town regarding the prices garages charge,I'm beginning to think there's some kind of price fixing going on and the claims of a cartel mightn't be too far wrong!!

I find the two stations in Camolin are always either the same price or cheaper than Ferns. Far less cramped too.

The small guy in the hardware shop near the COI church in Camolin was 2c/litre cheaper than either of the two big stations today.

Better quality diesel too. Can't comment on their petrol as I've never bought any there.

I wonder are the retailers in Gorey reading this thread, fuel prices have dropped by an average 2c/litre over the past couple of days. Not before time

Prices in Gorey as of Monday range 141.8/143.9 for petrol, diesel is c.129.9.

Yesterday, I passed a station on Pembroke Road in Dublin selling diesel at 117.9.

Terrible stuff. My mpg on that stuff went down 10 - 15%. Car sluggish too.
It may be cheaper than anywhere else, but it's not worth it.

In all fairness the most basic scientific scrutiny would not support your argument.

Well, you don't need to be scientist to see black smoke and mpg is simple arithmetic. I don't drive diesel any more but I found it terrible stuff indeed.
