Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Dublin Urban Fleadh 2012

    As part of Dublin's Northside Arts Festival the inaugural Dublin Urban Fleadh will take place in Wolfe Tone Square near the Jervis Centre on Bank Holiday Monday 6 August 2012 from 2.00pm to 6.00pm.

    Traditional music sessions will take place in a "tent village", with session tents positioned around the square, including a sit-in session for children. The sessions will run from 2.00pm to about 4.30pm and this will be followed by a concert showcasing some of Dublin's finest musical and singing talent on the main "cross roads" stage.

    A ceili band will provide the music for dancing "at the cross roads" where everyone will be invited to join in under the expert instruction of a dance "caller".

    This is an initiative of Ceoltóirí Chluain Tarbh in partnership with Dublin City Council.
