Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Anybody want to turn their amps up and blow the braces off some folk-****ing indie bands? Some riffs, some ideas, some anger and some humour all mixed up to create a hot mess?

    "I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix, angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night, who poverty and tatters and hollow-eyed and high sat up smoking in the supernatural darkness of cold-water flats floating across the tops of cities contemplating.... punk rock"

    Wanted: Raw and visceral guitarist to rip it up. Limerick area. You don't have to be Hendrix or Page. Any age or sex. We can trade ideas via e-mail if that suits.

    I would just like to start something loud with a bit of attitude, aggression, energy and humour. A creative outlet. Play some gigs. Write and record some songs that wouldn't exist otherwise. Nothing mad serious.

    Can't get anything steady goin in Dublin either.

    It seems that if you're not playing crust, your chances of getting a band together are slim.
