The Labour Party Manifesto is coming out in parts but this is what is in section 2
    http://www.labour.ie/policy/download/manifesto_2_economics.pdf

    Commitments include:
“Technology and Information Society” (page 11)
    - “Initiate a review of the high costs associated with internet usage in Ireland”
    - “Ensure that Broadband technology and high speed internet is progressively made available throughout the state”
    - Introduce a “Framework Bill on Egovernment…” (quite a long bit about on-line services and consultations, electronic payments to citizens, Egovernment portal -

Also lots of stuff about reform of regulators (merge them all into an Enterprise Regulatory Commission) and parliamentary scrutiny of same. (page 8).
    - Also vague stuff about adequate infrastructure and spatial strategy taking account of broadband etc.

There could be more in other sections as they come out….

i think its gone past the stage where we need a "review" we need action on what the situation is..

Labour did try to get the telecoms bill amended. I would expect the "review" to be short.
