Popped my cherry a few days ago. Something small. Much bigger one planned for the opposite arm.

Hey all, second sleeve well in progress now. By Billy Hay of Bath Street Tattoo in Glasgow. Daruma with Lotus flowers and cherry blossoms.
He's a genius. All freehand except for the Daruma. He is doing some wicked stuff at the moment.

Still got a cover-up to do, should be one more session.

    Progress:

Fresh from session today, one more session left till it's finished and i get to start on gilgamesh. Shiva is coming along nicely but some serious amount of shading has to be done on her which is slowing progress but looks fantastic in person

I don't have my laptop at the minute and getting these tattoos pictured is hard as ****, sorry for poor quality. Delighted with the shiva piece, obviously parts of it will lighten up after healing so will post a fully healed pic in a week or two, and yes my skin is very red

    this%20one_zpsqhy11oaj.jpg

And the outline of the last minute tattoo XD will shade it here and there at the end of other tattoo sessions

Hi everyone, newbie here. Just got into tattooing as part of a 1/4 life crisis a year or two back and got the bug so bad. My work is by Artur in Arti tattoo (chest piece, and both of my inner forearms) in Cork City and Dmitri (key and lock) and Steve (Sleeve) in Galway Bay tattoo. The sleeve is a work in progress so I'm afraid I don't have any finished pics just yet!

Here's some of my stuff, got a few other bits and pieces for no decent photos so...

Finally got some new ink, courtsey of the lovely Barry in Swords Ink.
I'm delighted! The lines came out perfect and it was't as painful as I was dreading. (I'm a wimp when it comes to pain but this was barely a 6 on the 1-10 pain scale)
Already thinking of my next one and will definitely go back to Barry for more. Lovely chap and he really went above and beyond to calm my nerves. :D
Please excuse the crappy image quality and obvious redness- I only got it done about 5 hours ago. BTW, anyone know how to get Bepanthine out of a shirt? Forgot how utterly greasy this **** is!

Hello everyone! Someone posted a link to this thread on a thread about tattoos in AH so I thought I'd come and have a look. Some amazing tattoos here. I just have the one and I had it done about 3-4 years ago. It's a tattoo of Medusa because I always liked the myth about her and I studied Classics in college. She has a mermaid tail instead of a serpent tail because I wanted to add a marine theme.

    https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash2/v/t1.0-9/529452_10150705064276489_494463318_n.jpg?oh=138c957a4293c285ffbff389c9fd675d&oe=563A8AFD

I really want to get another one but I am not 100% sure of a theme yet so I'm toying with a few ideas, and cost is another issue.

    On tricep

And here's some of the rest (stolen from his Instagram)

It goes onto chest (mirrors a sleeve/chest by Richard Pinch):

And the shoulder is a cover-up of a tribal:

Latest addition, done Monday in Wildcat SSG by Julieta. It's High Speech from Stephen King's Dart Tower series and means "I forgive". Hugely relevant to me with regards to my marriage ending.

Not a great pic - it's surprisingly difficult to take a picture of your own ribcage.

I got this done in Florida two weeks ago. The drummer of one of my favourite bands owns a tattoo shop and also draws skulls quite often, i.e. the one down below on the left. He also writes most of the lyrics for the band and has a very incredible way with words and seems to be so on point with everything when he explains something or we ever have a conversation. So this tattoo sort of pays homage to him and how incredibly inspired I've been from his lyrics and how they have personally affected me. I struggle a good bit with anxiety and he writes about that so often, about being helpless, but also wanting to see the light and not always focus on the negativity of it. He titled this skull "Brain cells meet Brainstorm", Gainesville, FL. (Which is where I got the tattoo). Perfect.
