Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Deep Impact is on BBC2 today, 18:10. It's the "other" meteor impact movie from 1998, the one with quite a bit more scientific rigour, though it's not perfect on that score.
I prefer it because it delves more deeply in to the social and ethical effects, on people, of imminent Armageddon. If the world's really coming to an end, just what do you do with yourself? Pinning all your hopes on a suicide mission is not the only option. It might also have something to do with the fact that I'll watch Téa Leoni in just about anything.
