    6034073 Bullseye 360 Pistol & Rifle Comp. picture.php?albumid=2359&pictureid=15304

The last Bullseye 360 competition for 2016 is scheduled for Sunday, 27th November 2016.

This is an open comp, and includes any sights, action, caliber, etc. As a Bullseye and Match comp there is no rests or supports of any type. This includes slings, rests, bags, bipods, sticks, etc. Nothing.

Simply sign in at the main reception desk, pay your entry fee, collect your score card and proceed to the appropriate range. Simples.

Pistol comp will be begin at 10:30 sharp, and Rifle comp begins at 12:30.

The shoots will be broken up into a four different disciplines. They are:
    • Centrefire Pistol Bullseye
    • Rimfire Pistol Bullseye
    • Rifle, Short Course
    • Rifle Long Course

You may enter as many of the disciplines as you like, as often as you like. This is an open competition meaning all are welcome. There are no restrictions on the caliber or type of gun you use. A ranking system being worked on last year will hopefully be introduced towards the start of this year. It will take effect when enough shoots have been completed to properly place each competitor in their appropriate class. These are:
    • A - Master
    • B - Expert
    • C - Marksman
    • D - Standard

Just back in from the range after the last comp of the year.

Another great day had. Good to see some new faces, and a great to end the year with all the regulars.

As expected the scoring was tight. Only single points between first and second in some instances.

We have a provisional calendar for next year which will be sent out once confirmed. If anyone is on the mailing list they might contact the lads on the Facebook page and PM them the address again to make sure they are still up to date, and receiving their results.

A few thank yous. First of all to Christie and Paul. The lads have worked hard to make sure the competitions take place each time given the hectic schedule they have in real life with work, family, etc.

The comps are a credit to ye and thoroughly enjoyed by all. They are growing in popularity and can only get better with time.

Also thanks to all the lads that have attended over the years. There would be no comps without ye. You have put on great displays of shooting and accuracy and made the shoots both great fun to be part of, but also a true test of ability with the push to do better.

To those that could not make the shoot i look forward to seeing you all on the line in the new year.

I missed the last few comps (too many kids looking to go places) science week in UCG today.
Hope to get to more next year than this year.
Thanks to the lads for running it

    PS
Hope to get to the stags shoot next week

Have missed the last four due to,car troubles, leg trouble [8 weeks on crutches because of torn ankle ligaments,as well as missing the entire rut as well.] and finally EU trouble.[Spent today emailing EU MEPS on the proposed EU gun ban]
So hopefully,I'll see you all in January or next Sat at the STAGS.

Some serious thanks to Paul and Christie for their dedication to this and setting up matches every month, and not forgetting the long suffering Allie who has been freezing most of the year and has been bored to tears while taking in the fees and giving out score cards.:D
