Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Ok, so I made chips for dinner by filling saucepan with vegetable oil and deep frying the chips. Question is, what can I do with the oil in the saucepan. It would be a shame to throw it out after only using it once. Any ideas of how to store it, to be used again?

Let it cool, sieve it and stick it back in the bottle it came from to use the next time you make chips!

If you don't have a funnel you can make one by cutting the top section off an old 2L coke bottle.
