Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I'm starting a new betting blog, I'm not used to doing blogs so will learn as I go with a bit of luck. I am hopeful my bets will make me some money and any followers too. I will put up my bets in advance. Today I have 4 selections in horse racing. I have invested £20

    1. 8.55 Kempton Sandy Cove Guaranteed price 9/4
    2. 5.25 lingfield Bert the Alert Guaranteed price 2/1
    3. 5.10 Leop Sretaw Guaranteed price 4/1
    4. 4.15 wincanton Henryville Guaranteed price 7/2

    on each of the 4 selections I have done several bets

    £1 lucky 15
    £1 e.w fourfold accum
    £1 e.w double Henryville and Sretaw
    £1 win double Sandy cove and Bert the Alert

    will Post an update with regards winnings/losses accumulated

    My tips for Thursday 4th April:

    2:00 Aintree #12 Hawk High 10 Euro EW 10/1
    2:30 Aintree #3 First Lieutenant 15 Euro Win 3/1
    3:45 Aintree #16 Richards Sundance 10 Euro EW 9/1
    4:15 Aintree # 8 Changing The Guard 10 Euro EW 14/1

    My method looks at what has won over the course of the past previous 6 to 14 years in the same race, looking at the median weight and average weight of the winner. Then I look at the Starting Price. Finally I look at the Trainer strike rate, and try and get all the factors to find a winner.

    Thanks for your tips Vellakare, , I will keep an eye on them today.. It sounds like a good system that you have, is it successful? , I can't say I have a system, I just read the form on the day, keep an eye on the ground and track and market movers and make a decision based on that, I'm hoping that doing a blog will track my winnings and losses, this is my first time doing a blog so hoping this reply goes to you.. Anyway, yesterday was a bad day, no winners from 5 selections but hoping to turn it around today, good luck yourself :)

    1. 1.55 lingfield, Big Kenny 8/13 Winner @ 4/6
    2. 2.10 Taunton, Captain sharpe 4/1 Winner @ 9/4, late money for this one.
    3. 2.55 lingfield, Don Sigfriedo 4/1 lost, stood in stalls, race only 5 furlongs, lost lot of ground, stayed on when race all over, unlucky, will learn a lot from that race and one to watch next time out providing he leaves stalls on terms.
    4. 4.45 Clonmel, Desert more storm 15/8, won easy, head in chest... 3 winners from 4

    I am hopeful this will return a profit

    Unlucky not to get a nice return from todays lucky 15... 3 winners, 4th horse stood in stalls over 5 furlongs and ran on late
