Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Hey Folks

    Thought I might shoot a quick reminder up here of events we're doing.

    Monday 27th Today (finished), Git workshop
    Just did a git workshop, a tool for tracking code versions and collaborative programming for projects. We'll be uploading a video of the quick talk given before the workshop probably tomorrow.

    Tuesday 28th 6pm KA-G-26 (kevin st) System administration with Debian,

    Thursday 1st March - undecided, possibly some more project work or a scripting workshop/tutorial. Check back later

    Monday 5th March 6pm KA-305 - Hacking/security workshop (hands on). Mark Denihan has built an education system for teaching web application security and he'll be demoing it Monday and possibly Thursday 8th as well.
