damnyanks, nothing happened, I've heard via more popular people on boards that people are afraid to play me, I don't blame them

I love Foosball. So much so that I own Foosball.ie

I play everyday in work. I'm the office champion. I only play one handed though (long story.)

I'd defo be on for getting involved in this.

There's one or two lads in my office who'd probably be on for this.

One of them has a move named after him; it's called the "Rowan Classic". It's when you score an own goal...

really, I once played with a guy in college called Rowan who did that all the time, he'd pin the ball and horse it down, sometimes he got it to bend around the player in front, rest of the time he scored and OG

Anyone on for a game in Cork? Where?

I'm a Kerry refugee in Cork. There was a table in the Goat (Broke Loose), but that pub is closed. There has been a ridiculously neglected one in the Bróg, but that has players missing, players held together with sellotape, 3 players along the goalie line. There was a poor enough one in the leisureplex..the one with the glass cover and the bar within a bar as opposed to slide through bars.

The Osborne bar on Edward Street, Tralee now has a table you can play for free, but it's a bit flimsy.

Are you guys still running clubs and tournaments? I'd even drive up the country for some. Are the tables still in the locations mentioned in the 2007 end of the discussion?

I must consult with my housemates about getting permission to buy and install a decent table...any advice? Any decent tables going second hand?

Thanks,
GarMani

I now own the 3 best foosball tables in Cork. 1 is a homeplay Tornado in my gaff and the other 2 are coin operated (50c for 9 balls) in UCC old College Bar.

Sounds good GarMani, I'm a Garlando man myself from the Kevin Street days.

we never got anything going here, just one person was really interested but it never really worked out.
