    Hi All,

Anyone recommend a decent 42" TV? Goes without saying that it should be 1080P, preferably 3+ hdmi ports and also is there any manufacturers that offer good warranties? Also not looking for it to be a smart tv or 3d, we have an android box for them features.

    Try pixmania.ie

Refine your search for 42"s and see what's on offer. Most TVs will have independent reviews if you want to search in a new tab

Don't try pixmania for smart TVs. They ship European models, which doesn't make a difference for a toaster, but smart TVs are location specific and the French models eg won't let you receive BBC or RTE players or other apps which are specific to our region. That's why the prices are so good.

Search for richersounds on here. Some good deals. Also Argos have a good 42' LG.

OP mentioned that he is not interested in a smart TV.

I'm not sure about restrictions on the RTE & BBC apps but if you buy a TV with a browser you will be able to access the players directly from their sites.

I picked this up and it does the job fine if you're looking for a cheap non smart TV.

This is the US version as far as I can tell. The Irish and UK have saor/free view compatibility so are different models - http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-40L1400U-40-Inch-1080p-60Hz/dp/B00I0S70GQ/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

You can pick up a HDMI splitter with a remote for a 10er on ebay or Amazon for more inputs.

Anything new has a warranty of two years in Ireland I wouldn't care too much about seller warranty myself- http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/ecc/consumer_topics/buying_goods_services_en.htm
