Hi!

Just looking for a little bit of advice...never got my eye teeth, still have my baby teeth (I'm 31). Reckon they're going to fall out eventually

Could anyone tell me what my options are? Im checking it now cause the left one is feeling a bit delicate when I knock it...am going to miss my quirky teeth!!!

There a good few options, in general the baby teeth last till mid thirties on average. Once they have to go (the looseness you describe are the first sign) you can go for implants, bridgework , a denture or sometimes orthodontic treatment to close the spaces. Best go see an implant specialist to check you options. Treatment time and cost will vary with the spec of the job and how good a job you want.

An orthodontist does braces, best see a periodontist or prosthodontist. Many general dentists do implants also.

Lots of options depending on your specific situation...
First off, having missing adult eye teeth is quite rare so it is more likely that you do have your adult canine teeth but they are impacted in your palate and not visible.
As fitz said the primary canine teeth last into your 30s in these cases on average.
When they are gone, your options are;

Do nothing live with the gap

Surgically uncover the adult teeth and slowly move them into place with a few years of braces

Leave the canine teeth up there and fill the gap with a bridge or by using a removable denture

Surgically remove the impacted canine teeth and close the gaps with braces, good if your teeth are already crowded...

Surgically remove the impacted teeth and place implants to replace the primary canine teeth...

All have their pros and cons:
In an ideal world, you should have the adult canine teeth exposed and moved into place with braces, I think it gives the best results.

I don't like closing spaces and trying to make another tooth look like a canine if it can be avoided as the canine is an important tooth for aesthetics... Also if having braces, you might as well go for the full treatment and not a half job...

If braces are not appealing to you, the next most ideal treatment is to place implants but as I've said, most likely you have adult canine teeth in the way of the implant sites so they should be removed, this will leave quite a defect so bone grafting will be necessary to place a good predictable implant....

A combined orthodontist and prosthetic treatment plan is needed with surgical input as needed.
