I have been searching online but i cannot seem to find anywhere to apply for auditions apart from premium sites (like starnow ect) but where would one send there resume if they were looking for extra roles in tv shows, commercials ect? Would you call tv3/rte ?

MovieExtras.ie have the contract for a lot of extra roles in Ireland, including some in RTE.

There seems to be an issue with a lot of tv/ad roles for speaking parts you need to send in a show reel but if youre trying to break in haven't worked before you don't have a showreel.
The only way I can see around this is working on free but credited jobs low budget student films, and editing out a show reel from there any other ideas?
