    Hi All,

I need to know the differences in SKY digital UK and Ireland Channel Listings.

I am working on MCE and need to know exact channel listings and mapping information for the EPG. I've been looking at the listings provided by http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/satellite/epg/ but I'm sure they are out of date. For e.g. channel 5 is listed as available but how can you tell if its available in Ireland?

    Any help appreciated on this.

Not complete, but this is a start. It is a mix, so you'll need to wade through it.

Strangely, it omits BBC 1 and BBC 2 (and regions) from 101 and 102. Also, there are also a couple of differences with the Northern Ireland EPG too.

    Main differences in Ireland:
    No Ch4, ITV, Five,
    No BBC radio
Only BBC1NI and BBC2NI, and at different EPG, rest BBC TV missing
    RTE1, RTE2, TV3, TG4 as 101 .. 104

Sky NI is different again as it has RTE1, RT2, TG4

This is a link to an MS Word doc with a full list of the Sky UK EPG. It looks to be faurly recent as it has More4 listed.

As Watty said, the main differences to the Irish EPG are 101 to 104 (Rte 1 & 2, TG4, TV3).
Edit: Forgot about this site. It lists the UK EPG with the ROI variations.

    Needs updating though.

EPG Listings for both UK and ROI here

They should be up to date now.

Just to muddy the waters a little, the EPG will be changing in the near future. The full new EPG line-up (including the new radio numbers which begin with "0") is available at the link below -

Thanks for all your replies, I think I’m going to go with the listing on http://theairwaves.thebigboards.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1426&Itemid=36 they seen to be most up to date.

Its important that I have this mapping information correct for EPG in MCE. Unfortunately I don’t have access to SKY’s offerings to verify myself.

    Anyone any suggestions?
