On may 26th there will be a limerick comic mart held in the absolute hotel limerick city from 10 to 5.30.any one interested in dealers/small press tables can contact limerickcomicmart@yahoo.ie.

Dwayne moloney(artist on the awesome blackstar book)quiet hell comics and agata romanska will be at the limerick comic mart. There will be 1000s of comics and comic related toys on sale during the day and its free entry so you dont have much of an excuse not to go.

i am an artist obsessed by comic art and always sketching from comic books bit theres always room for improvment, can anyone tell me is there any comic sketch classes held in or around cork???? thanks in advance

Not too sure of the venue though. It says the Verbal Arts Centre, but I heard from my comic shop it's in the Millennium Forum, which would be a better venue

It's in both venues! The 2D festival is usually on in the Verbal Arts Centre, but because Derry is this year's City of Culture the festival, they are also holding events in the Millenium Forum (The 2D Comics Fair and the Heroes & Legends Show). They are also holding some events in Sandino's bar.

Ah ok. I know I called into the Arts Centre for the first time last year. Didn't stay long because thought was too small a venue since could barely move around it with all the signing tables.
Though maybe they'll still be in the Arts Centre
