Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Help needed please! Daughter wants santy to bring minecraft (which I understand he will have a hard job as daughter only has a wii u!!) I'm thinking of looking for a console deal if i can find one on black friday. Very limited budget, so should i go ps3 or xbox 360? Also, i've noticed there are 2 types of minecraft game ...basic minecraft and minecraft story mode. Which one should i get? Or would she need both? As you can tell, I know nothing about this. Daughter won't be playing online, just looking for game she can play when her friends come over. Thanks for any help you can offer!

    She most likely wants the basic version, story mode is a different kettle of fish. No difference between the 360 and PS3 version, so whichever she prefers or whichever is cheaper.
