Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Justin Mason has just announced on the IIU mailing list that the IIU (Irish Internet Users) site has been "wiki-ized", which means that anyone can go in there and update ISP details now. Here's the FrontPage, the SummaryOfIrishIsps and HelpForBeginners. This has been a valuable resource for users over the years, but as you can see the data is starting to wear a little thin now. Hopefully a few of the ISP nerds that hang out in here will help fill it out.

Mods, could you merge this into an appropriate sticky in a couple days?
