Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Deficient by one inch too, that's why his pull is weak and why he has to thrust further with the hips to compensate.

    Felt like a boiled sh*te as my bearded friend would say. Dhrinkin' n maxin' don't mix too well. I'll try get a decent total in on Wednesday then start backing off.

    Heavy split squats are pretty cool I hadn't gone that heavy before. Dunno if it'll a good idea to max it though as it'd be hard to dump the bar without dumping it on yourself. I'll probably give it a bash after the comp though and get some spotters for it.

    Technical Difficulties. My planned opener is actually 79kg but I couldn't help loading the bar up the 1kg tonight. Should have got them all just a touch off. I was clarking 79kg before Cork so not too worried.

    I was very tired on the C&J's so ended up with one of those double cleans again. I just need to get under the bar a bit better though not too much under the bar because then I can't stand back up :rolleyes:

    There's a set of rings hanging up in front of one the platforms. Which means trouble. Eliteness joking aside pretty happy with the legit turnout muscleup. I wasn't able to do one back in the day cos I'd always lose my grip but got it fairly handy tonight.

    Blaahh. Woke up middle of last night sniffly. As usual I thought it might pass but it never does. Felt sh*te in training and 70/85 was heavy. No comp for me. I wasn't too pushed about it anyway.

    I'm gonna take the rest of the week off and start again on Monday. I'm gonna just do general strength training from then though given it's the end of the year and give myself a mental rest from all the specific WL stuff. There will be a healthy dose of messing about included.

    Already on my list powerlifting total, prowler & sleds, muscleups. I'll probably have a list of about 100 things to do by Monday.

    That developed into full blown aids..Liam Neeson style. I don't think couch has cured that yet so no training for me. Plan to start again Wednesday shouldn't be too bad by then.

    Training with the beard and lady trapsalot. Just doin' whatever popped into my head starting with the upperbody stuff cos the platforms were busy.

    I was gonna attempt low bar squats but I can't get into that rack position anymore. Since I don't really care about low bars I'm not bothered working on being able to do them again. I'm just gonna do rack squats instead for a bit overload which was the idea in the first place.

    ..and losing the will to live or at least to lift anyway. I think two strains might have merged into one. I was very close to going home after the squat warmup sets but since I only trained twice last week I thought I better get on with it. I dropped 10kg off everything and emo lifted.

    Been busy most of the week so didn't get around to training. Well I should have went on Wednesday but got an attack of the lazy.

    I only had 45 minutes so motored through this was already gassy after squats but I had hardly anytime left so I accidently a metcon. Fair rough so it was but once I recovered I got some of those exercise endorphins. I hope I don't fall off the wagon and end up 21-15-9'ing anything.

    Jerks were rough my shoulders lit up pretty quick still fatigued from dips the other day. Also my first time attempting this comp style and I didn't really get the resting position down properly plus it's just pretty f*cking hard anyway. If I'm to do it again I think I'll have to put in some practice first.

    Snatches were alright could just about manage them. I'm very unconditioned right now though 1.5 pood would have killed me.
