Wonder does Diacks form give Anscombe a headache for the Sarries game, he was very good Saturday and really took the lead with his carrying, Henderson offers more options off the bench and could cover 2nd row too.

One thing I am sure of is we need to vastly improve our discipline this weekend, even allowing for Clancy's questionable reffing for a couple of those soft penalties against us, it wasn't good. How many times do you need to watch Sarries and England to know if you give away penalities, you will be punished by Farrell's boot, even if the rest of his team aren't up to very much. Would hate if the game was lost in that manner.

Anyone know the craic at Twickenham on Sat. Is there a bar to socialise at pre game and if not where does the crowd go?

We're aiming for a pub called the Cabbage patch to watch the other games before the Ulster game.

Lot of rugby to get under the belt!

There are loads of spots around Richmond and Twixkers. I generally start from the Sun Inn and go with the flow.

What a difference a few days make, on Friday most of us were worried a defeat on Saturday would finish our Rabo hopes leading into a defeat against Sarries, all of a sudden we're back playing like the Ulster of the first half of the season and ready for a massive game against Sarries! SUFTUM!

I'll be there with a group of 5 Leinster men on Saturday and we will be standing up for the Ulstermen! Aim to be in the Cabbage Patch from 1ish!

Love the Ulster fans as every season they make the RDS great craic!

There's 8 of us (Leinster heads) doing the Fri/Sat double. Unfortunately the Munster match is at a harsh time on Sunday for the majority.

Still trying to get my hands on an oul Ulster jersey for the giggles. Will be doing my best accent for the whole of Saturday. If I'm drinking Guinness instead of Harp will yee be able to sniff me out?

  • Administrators Posts: 53,275 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

I'm afraid a token pint of Harp won't be enough to mask that Leinster musk off ye.

Jealous of you lot going over for the match. I'm still paying off last season's twickers trip.

To the pub it is for me for the match, about as close as I'll get to a roaring crowd. Its that or watch it on SkyGo on the ipad.

A good Ulsterman drinks Guinness too you know!! Wouldn't be a game of rugby without a pint of the black stuff, but i've found it hard to get in many's a rugby ground (especially heineken games)

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,815 ✭✭✭✭emmet02

The Heineken equivalent (Murphy's) isn't too bad tbh.

Last year's final we all had to swap to it as they ran out of Heineken before the 60th minute.

Same here - need an Ulster top but not sure if this is cheating on Leinster or not though!!

If I go (I really hope to if work allows) then I'll be there proudly wearing my Leinster gear. Pint in hand. Singing all the songs and getting the words wrong.

I'll be lending my support to Ulster in my own way, from home.... by eating a soda farl loaded with sausages n bacon n egg!

Does anyone know if concession tickets are for over 65s as well as students? Ordered four tickets for students a while ago, but two of my friends have had to pull out. Planning on taking my Dad and his brother instead, and they could easily pass as over 65s, but not students! I doubt the staff care anyway, but it's a fair way into London for us so I don't want it to be a wasted journey. The tickets don't say "student" or anything, they just have the price on them.

Glad to hear about all the Leinster folk bolstering our support by the way! #maketwickenhamhome

Not many decisions for Mark in selecting the team. Only room for real options are in the second and backrow

Court Best Afoa are locked in starters
Muller and either Tuohy or Stevenson in the two
Henry to start and two from Diack Henderson Wilson and Williams in the back row
Pienaar Jackson at 9 and 10
Will Marshall be fit or will Olding partner Cave. Very hard to drop Olding after his recent form but Marshall has to be ahead of him.
Gilroy and Trimble on the wings with Payne at FB

Herring Black and Lutton/Fitzpatrick on the bench, is Lutton's performance against Leinster enough or will Fitzpatrick come straight back in.
Who will be the backrow on the bench, could Mark go for a 6-2 split again
Marshall or Heaney as sub scrumhalf

I have been invited out to dinner on Saturday, and with a few other Leinster fans have asked for dinner to start later than planned to allow us to shout SUFTUM at our tellies before we head out. Hope you play as well as you did last Saturday, and get another well deserved win.

Here's some help on how to look/speak/behave if you want to go undetected. All other Leinster fans are welcome to follow suit. :pac:

You can spell to some degree, right?

    GIMME A U!
    GIMME AN L!
    GIMME AN S!
    GIMME A T!
    GIMME AN E!
    GIMME AN R!
    GIMME AN R!
    GIMME AN R!
    GIMME AN R!
    GIMME AN R!
    GIMME AN R!
    GIMME AN R!
    GIMME AN R!
    GIMME AN R!
    GIMME AN R!
    GIMME AN R!
    GIMME AN R!

    What does that spell?

    ULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
