Are Social Democrats (the political party containing Donnelly, Murphy and Shorthall) even involved in the right2*** stuff?

I believe Catherine Murphy attended some of their meetings/forums, spoke at meetings and protests organised by them and "joined" them in 2014 http://www.irishexaminer.com/breakingnews/ireland/kildare-td-joins-right2water-campaign-652078.html (although I don't entirely trust TCM on that)
but I don't see a submission from her in the right2change policy submissions docs http://www.right2water.ie/right2water-unions-want-your-input more recently

Seems a worthwhile policy. It's a pity that their other policies involve spending an awful lot of other peoples' money though.

And that's quite apart from their roundly irritating conflation of "water is a right" (from the UN's Resolution 64/292) with "free water is a right".

Isn't that the basis of most democracies?

I think they would roundly irritated by your suggestion they want free water

From page four of their PDF:
Water is a human right [...] As such, water provision and sanitation [...] should be made available to all, free at the point of use [...]

Speaking ahead of today’s demonstration on School Pluralism at Leinster House the Social Democrats have pledged support to the campaign for equality in Education by stating that in a modern democracy, it is not acceptable that a child could be refused a place in a local school on the basis of religion.

I was at the Dail gates when the petition was handed over. Catherine Murphy, Roisin Shortall, Anne Marie McNally and James Heffernan from Social Democrats all out to support it.

[...] today’s demonstration on School Pluralism at Leinster House [...]
No offence to the organizers who have nothing but my fullest support - but honestly! - this is the third demonstration in the last couple of weeks against discrimination that's happened in Dublin and it's the third one I've heard about with less than 24 hours to go. Or in this case, that it's just happened - and I'm sitting a five minute walk from the Dail!

    Where's the viral campaigning!?

Might be useful to let people know the groups and accounts involved as there are other people who'd like to drop by to these events as they happen.

    ta!

many would claim we already have pluralism in Education, but its Catholic dominated, we need secularism in Education

how would party which is bound to get even less TDs then labour got in 2011 get any movement on this?

The guy who organised this petition is a dad and a barrister.
He does not have declared support of Atheist Ireland.
He does not have declared support of Educate Together.
He does not have a boards.ie account (that I know of - if you do, hi paddy).
He is not a trained campaigner and media savvy person.

He is a guy who gave a **** about a topic, pulled a finger out of his arse, pulled off 20,000 signatures, got hours of national TV and Radio coverage, got inches of press coverage over the past 6 months.
He even got me getting signatures on Grafton Street and I'm a lazy **** :pac:.

The guy has done more than any politician or an entire A+A forum, or some useless Atheist Facebook group in the past six months for equality in education.
He gave the even lesser organised Rupesh Panicker a massive dig out for his Walk for Eva campaign that some of the posters here attended.

    Bravo Paddy

There is an official organisation that expectation just mentioned that fully support Paddy.

They have a newsletter subscription form here.

I would remind you that A+A is a discussion forum, not an activist forum - that's the domain of the forum on atheist.ie.

FWIW, A+A has raised a number of issues to national level, and at least one issue to international level - despite doing as little social media campaigning as possible, and most of the time, none at all.
