Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Hi folks. I'm new to all this. Just wondering, how do you become a mod? And what advantage is it? Please excuse my ignorance but as i say i'm new to all this. Thanks.

    MOds are picked by the admins of the site. If an existing forum or new forum needs a mod they look at who are good contributors to the area of interest, if they have a level head and a good posting history then it might just happen. If a forum needs a new mod or an old mod is stepping down then the other mod/s can make suggestions to the admins but again the final decission is down to them.
