Lads quick question ...

I use GIMP for photo editing but i can never figure out how to make an image/layer that i have pasted to blend in with the background pic .

You know what i mean ..say when i paste a cut out i want it to blend in to the light or shade of the original so not stand out as a obvious overlay ?

I dont know the proper name for this so thats probably half my problem .

Disaster I know. I had put in a tractor. I used photoshop! Should have used gimp find it easier to use than photoshop, photoshop just messes up what I want to create. Usually good with ideas and photoshopping stuff. Did multimedia, some use it has been...Failed that picture. Ok, Access pick out an image of a tractor and post it on this or PM it to me I shall try and put it in as part of the picture. I know I have too many ideas going on in one image and messes it all up! No didn't use MS paint, used photoshop, I'll use gimp instead! :rolleyes:

Wonder if someone could give me a pointer. Having issue putting in text with photoshot. Create layer set text to black bground is white. and I've tried the layer at different levels. The text is not showing just coming up as ouline with lines moving around it with png. Its doing my head in.

Try highlighting the text and then change colour? other than that, I'm not sure.

Got it in the end had to set the fill color of the layer.

Hope its an improvement since the last set. Have a different tractor in each, one jpg and the other png. Which is better!? They go well with the theme of blue! One big and one small tractor. Still did it in photoshop!
