Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Returning to WOW, Blizz Issues

    Hi folks,

    Going to be returning to WOW, within 2-3 weeks. My account was hacked before, so trying to make sure everything is running smoothly, and boy it isn't.

    Issue 1) Armory is showing my characters as 7 mages 2 paladins 1 druid. When realistically it's more like 2 paladins 1 druid 2 mages, and a few randoms all level 81, apart from my which is 85. But only 2 of them should be 81.So possibly it could be just a bug on armory?

    Issue 2) I forgot my security question answer( Well I didn't it's just not accepting the correct answer) So in order for me to sign in to the forums I must use the E-mail code. Yup fine that works. Onto battle.net I go perfect. Yet when I try to sign into Battlenet application, it's requesting my security answer. Which basically goes around in circles as it wont work. I've read up online, and apparently they wont let people change their security question? I've sent a ticket anyway. Pain in the tits seeing as you can't ring them

    Just curious has this happend to anyone else? Pain in the face with it at some stage? Anybody any suggestions?

    I believe there could be a skype service you could call. If i remember though from when my brother did the same you may need to send them in photo documentation.

    Yeah you'll need your passport and your login email address.

    Do you know how long the account was hacked for, what they do is create characters and spam Trade channel with gold services or fake goods.

    Once blizz sort your account out they should reset everything.

    Eventually got it set up had to send in my passport photo. All grand now. Thanks lads

    Ont he bright side you'll probably get to keep the items the hacker has. Hopefully non of your own has been sold and you end up with a nice cash bump for returning due to the items the excess characters have.

    And as far as I'm aware if any important items have gone missing you can request them back.
