Anybody recommend a leave in conditioner for very dry curly hair that is NOT expensive, and also easily available??
I've been using Leo Bancroft "Glamorously Curly" which is fantastic, but Tesco have stopped stocking it and I can't seem to find a replacement leave in conditioner!!
    Any suggestions??

Have you tried Vitapointe? I used to use it when my hair was much drier than it is now, and it was fantastic. My hair is wavy rather than curly, but this stuff is so cheap (less than €3 for a decent tube) you could afford to try it!
I also liked Umberto Giannini Instant Beauty Silky Soft Leave-in conditioner, a bit more expensive at around €8, I've only used it a couple of times but my extremely curly cousin uses it all the time.
Edit to say, only use Vitapointe on dry hair, it doesn't work on wet hair.

hi I use tresseme undone conditioner as a conditioner and also a leave it. mainly because its silicone free (I don't use sulfates to wash my hair so I have to keep all products silicone free or else they won't wash out). its often on special offer at tesco/boots so not very expensive. I use absolutely loads of it :p

They're both available in Boots, anyway! I think the Umberto stuff is exclusive to Boots but I've bought Vitapointe in a local chemist too.

Coconut oil. I have really curly hair and I swear by the stuff. If I'm straightening my hair, it goes in an hour or so before I wash it. If I'm leaving it curly, I scrunch it in after washing my hair.

Do you recommend a particular type or brand? I'm clueless about it but would like to try it as I've heard so many people like it. My hair is curly but very fine and very dry and pure frizz. Is it something you get in a supermarket or in Boots? Is it literally just a bottle of oil?

Nope, I just got a big tub of it from tesco for a fiver. I use a small bit of normal conditioner too because my hair is thick and can take it. It's a tub of solid white coconut that turns to oil at body temperature so you spoon it out and rub it between your hands. I use it as a body moisturiser too. It's meant to be great for eating and stuff but that's what I use it for.
