Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Hi lads, been very sick with an illness this week that I've had for a while and don't feel I've studied enough to get the grades I want. Is it possible to defer two exams or does that look like I'm making up an excuse? Is it even possible to defer two from one semester ?

    Nobody here will be able to tell you for definite unfortunately. Speak with the exams office ASAP and see if they can help!

    Is it possible to defer 2 ...yes

    A few years ago my second daughter was born in middle of exams (as the date was up in the air this meant I had problems knowing which exams I would miss)

    In the end I missed 2 out of 5 but was able to defer them. I informed the school and all was ok, couple of forms to fill out nothing too serious. Sat them the following August.

    Check with your department head, tell them whats happened, they are generally very sympathetic.
