Over 0.5 goals challenge

I've been looking into this for a while now and it seems pretty do-able. You need to be very strict when picking what games to go with. Soccerstats.com is a pretty good website for figuring out if a game will be over 0.5 goals. All you have to do is find a game or two a day which will have over 0.5 goals. You could also get lucky and find a game at ht which was 0-0 and odds would be around 1/3 2/5 to have over 0.5 goals. Anyone brave enough to give it a go?

If you picked a 1/10 every day then this what you could after a set amount of winning bets
Starting with €10

10 = €25.94
20 = €67.28
30 = €174.51
40 = €452.63
50 = €1,174.01
60 = €3,045.08
70 = €7,898.15
80 = €20,485.77
90 = €53,134.81

I take most of my first half bets in game.
Most ods pre kickoff are 3/10 or 1/4. Bur after 15 mins of play most odds jump to around 2/5 or 4/9 depending on the play.

Also find grabbing a beer and watching two lower division south american teams can be quite profitable with quick bets.

But you can analyse as much as you want, the bookies will winout on first halves eventually

Use oddchecker and take whatever firm offers the best odds.I would never restrict myself to one firm.

Ditto what Yaba said.(Long time no see Yaba :pac: )

For example Bet365 on Rodes FGS was 33/1 PP was 25/1 huge difference in markets across bookies.

No betfair is what i was using. So many games and always have over 0.5 markets

I've don't it before but always come unstuck at some point. Sometimes I'd get greedy and bet on another goal in the same match. Won €600 one weekend doing that and cashed out. Why not make this a log and see how you get on?

I've tried things like this plenty of times but always slip up at some point, Plently of people working together could possibly better the chances but

Are you sure you're not looking at match goals rather than first half goals?

I did match goals and they were coming in around 1/10-1/20. Did some in play as well

I'm going to monitor this over the summer and start next season with 10 matches each weekend over 0.5 in an accum. Starting with €20 after 7 successful weekends of 10 matches over 0.5 you would have €1393.45 providing the odds are at least 1/16.

Just gonna do as far as 100(hopefully) and take out...Started again today and got as far as 42 before losing out...Just started one now and have 3 in out of 5 (half time in the other 2)

You could always bank your original stake if the first one clicks .€20 10 acca returns around 40 quid ,bank the 20 use winnings only.At least when one let's you down you are still breaking even.

Ive also experimented with betting on under corners in the 80-85th min, but mostly always there is one!

Had some success with 85th min no more goals.

But yes, over 0.5 can be very good if you pick the right league

It would be near impossible to not be able pick 10 games across the world on a Saturday to have 1 goal in it?!

Haha, not as impossible as you'd think. Doing it consistently to make any decent profit is the hardest part!

You would be awful unlucky to pick a match with no goal in it considering you would have about 500 to chose from!

Give it a go so. Even on paper. Very hard to turn a profit consistently.

Game 19 and 20 let me down today. Was doing blocks of 10 like colin above. It's not easy and the returns are awful from such an amount of games.

Dunno how you say returns are awful? 5/4 ish for there to be a single goal in 10 matches across the world of a Saturday. Sounds fairly okay to me. I'm proposing to accumulate them not back them in singles. 1/16 or better

Yes I know that. Problem is a lot of the games you'll want to back won't have an over 0.5 market, it'll be over 1.5. Have a go, see how far you get, will be interesting to see. I got to 19 without any real research. Will try again next season when all the leagues are back up and running.

Betfair sportsbook do over 0.5 in nearly every game. You need to be disciplined though and never do over 1.5 that will end up ruining you in the long run.
