    i'll go with some Rays Fly, had a look at the recipe and should be able to manage some of them.

    I'll be in for this will tie some poppers if I can find the foam otherwise I'll do some deceivers.

    Got my flies from the first swap they look very good.

    All is really not well Fishboy but have a bunch of docs working on that. Look up a fly called summer blues- if you tie it in red and yellow pollack will go apesh!t for it. Only needs a hook, thread and 2 colours of bucktail and in varying colour combos will work anywhere in the world.

    I was waiting until the weekend to post a final list but so far...

    Seafields : Deceiver pattern

    Yank in Eire : Polar fiber baitfish

    Okedoke : Gugglers

    Fish Boy : Ray fly

    Zziplex : Cluster minnow

    Jack01986 : Poppers

    That will probably be it for this swap but hopefully one or two more might join in.

    As a matter of interest, how early do people here start fly fishing for bass?

    Well five copies if you exclude your own. :P

    Will we say this day three weeks that ye aim to have ye'r flies to me? I can have them out then by the end of March.

    Ill tie mine the start of next week anyway.... Ordered fly tying materials a week ago from uk and still have not recieved them, Ill make do with what I have here.

    It's more like casting practice with the remote chance of a pull from something but it takes less explaining to tell the mrs i'm going fishing!

    Yeah, hopefully the interest keeps up so seatrout flies in April maybe. And there's potential for more themes - salmon, dries, nymphs, wets again.

    Flies Tied,Chart/white clousters with lead eyes.....Sorry still not got my materials from uk so have no real eyes to use instead of lead. Anywhoooo

    Yes I did and they look great.

    UPDATE.

    I have received two sets of flies so far and have another on the way. My own are tied also so should be able to wrap this up by the end of next week.

    All done - 5 gurglers (running low on hooks so didn't put in a fly for my own packet). In the post on Monday.

    So here are the results of the SW fly swap. Yank and Zziplex ye sent one too many so I'll send them back with your collection. These will be in the post over the weekend. And so ends successful fly swap No. 2 :)
