Jesus you would hardly recognise the poor guy, hope he makes it.

I remember a cracker of a goal he scored in the 1990 final.

    Best of luck kevin.

I wish Kevin Hennessy all the best for the future,a great forward who always gave 100% for Cork and his club team Midleton.

Paul Galvin would be a loss to every single team in the country bar none, let alone an Intermediate Club side.

Yes Fitzmaurice is a huge loss aswell but tbh it pales into significance when compared to Galvin, really Cork peoples irrational hatred of Galvin is pretty funny and absurd.

    Nothing irrational about it:pac:

I'd have him pegged as a bigger loss than Galvin.

Despite pushing on in years he's a rock at the back for them and a guy who very much looks after himself - his leadership will be a big loss.

Fitzmaurice has been full forward for them for 2 years now...but he has been very effective and a good target man. Not sure if there will be an appeal in the Galvin case...would assume so.

Fair enough - had only ever played against Fingue with him at CB

Castlehaven v De Crokes Dec 2nd in Cork. Nice way to end the year; a Cork v Kerry battle.

  • Registered Users Posts: 482 ✭✭Treble20

Easy win for Kildorrey today in the Munster Junior hurling championship semi final over Waterford representatives Butlerstown 4-19 to 0-11. An impressive score put up by the North Cork team in the terrible weather conditions.

Dr. Crokes wont have it easy against the Haven but reckon they should win by 2-3 points.

Crokes will be v strong favourites for this. Haven were very lucky to come away with a 1 point win. A lucky goal and stradbally shooting 9 wides in the first half. Must say the game was played in atrocious weather conditions.
Crokes have 2 big advantages. A bigger stronger selection of players. And, experience being Munster champs for the last 2 years with a drive and hunger to get an All Ireland. Castlehaven are in bonus territory.

Should be odds-on favourites now to win Munster and progress to Croke Park.
Kerry radio said that Kierans struggled to beat Kenmare in Fitzgerald Stadium yesterday. The influential Timmy Carroll is a massive loss to them at this stage, suffered a broken ankle in the Limerick final.

I know a bit about the St Kierans team through 1 of their players who works with me. A great achievement for them to reach a Munster final but I reckon Kildorrey will beat them in the final especially with the final been played in Mallow where the Kildorrey team would have played numerous times during the year.

Hard to blame him he was a selector in football and hurling and never got to serve a proper term. The man is a history maker nobody will break his record in the modern game due to the back door in club and county. A true iconic rebel.

He's some icon alright...anyone aware of even half the controversial stuff he has been involved in over the years wouldn't make a silly statement like that.

Ye are ones to talk alright down in kerry, does the name Declan Quill mean anything ? i.e. a court case....

Sure Galvin is an angel he would never say anything to Noel O'Leary such as 'nice day for a hanging' as he said to poor Noel a few years ago on same week there was a suicide close to him.

Tadgh Kenneally would never pre-meditate a dirty elbow into the head of a cork player.

I could go on with dirty kerry......

Who was sent off in a club game for Finuge there recently? Who could it be? Ah yes it was Mr Exposé himself Paul Galvin with his 70 pairs of shoes.
