Good if you're buying one pack at a time. I bought mine though Amazon after spotting on hukd. Worked out at €4.21 per packet so a massive 43c saving per pack.

I'd say the producer of these and the machines have a big push on this time of year because the machines can be given as gifts and you're more likely to give a gift where the pods seem good value.

It's cheaper again on Amazon of if you subscribe to refills and then as soon as your order ships cancel subscription.

Tesco do this on a regular basis. Time to stock up again.

They had it in the Tullow store in Co Carlow but not the one in Carlow town. You'd be better off checking a few stores.

Good spot, first discount in ages.

    FYI, "Morning Cafe" is awful.

Not as bad as that.. Little frothy and different taste to the Costa but not like frogs piss or anything

I'm not into Morning Coffee either, it's like having a cup of Maxwell House. If I'm opting for a cheaper cup I usually go for Kenco Columbian but my favourite is Costa Latte.

my Amazon subscribe and save for Tassimo Americano works out at approx €3.50 per pack of 16. I never buy them in shops anymore.

    £12.75 for 5 packs - £2.55 per pack ~ €3.50 per pack

    http://screencast.com/t/Jz2iSa1kJlt

Promotion applied is 5 items subscribed per month (includes 2 of these deliveries for us and a friend). Free delivery to Ireland too, not sure why but hey ho.

But the Lattes and other drinks are a lot more expensive and will work out cheaper from the Tassimo website and you might even get a free gift.

Fill it up, get a pint glass under the nozzle and with the yellow disc in, hold the button in for 3-5 seconds. This will put it on a longer clean cycle. Takes about 15-20 minutes and will use almost the whole reservoir, so keep an eye on it.
